Programmatic Analyst (New York, NY)

The programmatic analyst role is an opportunity for an experienced DSP trader to apply hands-on-keyboard knowledge to inform industry-leading supply path research. At Jounce Media, we conduct always-on tests to benchmark price and volume performance across RTB supply paths on a diverse set of ad supported publishers. We update this data set daily and expose it to both buy-side and sell-side clients, helping them make data-driven supply path optimizations.


  • Managing Jounce’s always-on supply path monitoring tests in multiple DSPs

  • Translating business hypotheses about supply path performance into well designed DSP tests

  • Analyzing test campaign data and summarizing key insights in slides, prose, and live discussion

  • Presenting research and experimentation plans and articulating findings to clients

  • Owning industry research related to transparency initiatives and adoption and other emerging topics and trends


  • 2+ years experience operating DSP campaigns in a hands-on-keyboard role

  • Proficient using Excel and MS office, including pivot tables

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year university

  • Demonstrable creative thinking and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and perform in a fast-paced work environment

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams

  • Great written & verbal communication skills

Engagement Manager (New York, NY)

Jounce is seeking an Engagement Manager to lead a portfolio of marketer accounts.


  • Owning all day-to-day client communication

  • Understanding client marketing objectives and collaboratively developing advertising technology roadmaps

  • Identifying technology and data partners that address roadmap objectives, and designing custom solutions for integrating off the shelf products to solve unique marketer use cases

  • Negotiating non-standard commercial terms with technology and data partners

  • Managing a technical development team that is responsible for implementing bespoke data management and ad serving systems

  • Designing and executing structured campaign tests, including A/B placebo tests, to gather performance data and extract new performance insights

  • Interpreting web-based dashboards and ad hoc analysis to address marketer business questions

  • Communicating business insights to clients and collaboratively identifying opportunities for media investment optimization

  • Contributing to Jounce’s thought leadership by writing blog posts, leading open education sessions, and speaking at industry events


  • Proven success in building long term client relationships

  • Deep knowledge of the advertising technology landscape

  • Proficiency in translating marketing data into actionable business insights

  • Demonstrated ability to concisely communicate data-driven insights

  • Ability to manage time and workload with limited oversight

  • 4+ years experience in the digital media industry
